Job purpose

To prioritize in-person retail visits with the goal of enhancing retailer awareness and improving SIM and Float performance, while ensuring optimal visibility and merchandising standards are maintained at the point of purchase for SOS and Trash agents.

Key duties involve formulating and executing project plans, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. This role requires leading cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, and delegating tasks to enhance productivity. Additionally, the position demands monitoring performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategic initiatives to drive efficiency. Effectively oversee the identification and recruitment of Agents by targeting mobile money outlets and high-traffic retail stores.

Regularly conduct visits to SOS and Agents in accordance with established route plans (beat plans) to ensure compliance and maintain effective communication.

Provide all necessary business tools to facilitate transactions at SSO and agent outlets while ensuring comprehensive training for SOS and Trash Agents on operational processes.

Conduct anti-money laundering (AML) training sessions for agents and provide instruction on Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures as they pertain to SIM REG compliance. Additionally, oversee the testing of these agents to ensure proficiency in AML protocols and KYC verification aligned with SIM REG requirements.

Monitor inventory levels and maintain sufficient stock to cover daily operations. Ensure adherence to the 1.5x stock rule for agents while guaranteeing sales support officers (SOS) have adequate stock SIMs available for new registrations and activations.

Merchandising entails establishing and upholding merchandising standards by ensuring the availability of merchandising materials at SOS and Agent outlets.
