Oversee assigned functional duties, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and operational standards. Perform essential tasks critical to the role, including process execution, problem resolution, and adherence to established protocols. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve departmental goals, fostering efficient workflows and maintaining high performance standards.

Install, configure, commission, and maintain microwave radios, LTE/GSM equipment, and additional telecom infrastructure at tower and rooftop sites.

Perform Physical Acceptance Tests (PAT) and conduct thorough evaluations of site quality for newly installed equipment and infrastructure.

Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on telecom equipment to sustain optimal network availability and service standards.

Perform diagnostic assessments and execute repairs or replacements for malfunctioning radio, transmission, and power systems installed on towers and rooftops.

Conduct drive tests, analyze signals, diagnose faults, and implement performance improvement initiatives to optimize network operations.

Maintain and ensure the reliable operation of critical electrical power systems, such as rectifiers, batteries, diesel engine generators (DEG), power distribution systems, grounding networks, and site electrical protection mechanisms.

Conduct thorough assessments of on-site electrical installations to verify adherence to established electrical engineering codes and strict safety protocols.

Perform routine inspections and maintenance on tower and rooftop infrastructure, with responsibilities including rust treatment, verification of earthing system integrity, and structural condition assessments.

Perform comprehensive site evaluations, technical analyses, and feasibility evaluations to support network expansion initiatives and infrastructure enhancements.

Facilitate the execution of network enhancements, modernization initiatives, and the introduction of new technologies to ensure seamless integration and operational efficiency.

Craft accurate and timely maintenance reports, incident reports, acceptance documentation, and operational records to ensure comprehensive record-keeping and compliance with established standards.

Deliver ongoing oversight, technical guidance, mentorship, and task delegation to the reporting technician, fostering seamless field operations and adherence to established standards.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology.
• Proven experience of at least 3 years in software development, preferably with expertise in programming languages like Python, Java, or C++.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking to address complex technical challenges.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting project deadlines.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git.
• Knowledge of database management and SQL for data manipulation and retrieval.

A degree or diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline is required.

Minimum of two to three years of hands-on experience in telecom field operations, radio systems, or network maintenance is required.

Proficiency in installing, commissioning, and maintaining microwave radio systems, as well as LTE/GSM equipment, is required.

Professional Rewriting:
Possession of pertinent vendor certifications will enhance the candidate’s profile.

Proficient knowledge of fundamental electrical engineering concepts, including AC/DC power systems, rectifiers, generators, batteries, grounding techniques, and electrical safety protocols is required.

Valid Fall Arrest Certification that remains current with a minimum of one year remaining before expiration is required.

Certification or training in Radio Frequency (RF) Awareness, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols, as well as compliance with Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DISH) regulations, is required.

Physically and medically fit individuals capable of performing duties at elevated heights and in field environments are required.
