The incumbent will collaborate with the SSMP Project Officer to facilitate the execution of sustainability initiatives at the school level within the framework of the Sustainable School Meals Project (SSMP). This includes overseeing the establishment of kitchen gardens, monitoring their development, and delivering technical assistance in areas such as crop farming and poultry rearing.
The incumbent will oversee reporting, monitoring, and evaluation processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with organizational objectives. This role involves collecting, analyzing, and disseminating data to stakeholders, tracking progress against key performance indicators, and identifying trends or gaps requiring action. Proficiency in data management tools and strong analytical skills are essential, along with the ability to interpret findings and present clear, actionable insights. Collaboration with teams across departments will be necessary to validate data sources, refine methodologies, and support evidence-based decision-making.
Prepare quarterly and annual reports to document and communicate the progress of implementation efforts, contributing to written reporting activities.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for beneficiaries and schools, encompassing enrollment details, feeding data, and contact information.
Conduct routine monitoring visits to schools to verify the correct implementation of all aspects, such as ensuring the punctual delivery of food, maintaining food quality standards, and overseeing proper storage and utilization of food by the schools.
Assist in documenting Program Change/Impact narratives to ensure accurate and comprehensive records are maintained for analysis and reporting purposes.
Regularly communicate updates regarding the advancement of the school feeding program across all designated platforms.
Conduct data collection initiatives for needs assessments, baselines, and impact evaluations at both the school and community levels.
Ensure all mandated tools and trackers are utilized correctly and maintained with the most current information at all times.

Proficiency in working within Arid and Semi-Arid Lands (BASAL) regions and among local communities will be considered a valuable asset for this position.
A valid motorcycle riding license is strongly preferred for applicants.
Must demonstrate both the capability and willingness to operate a motorcycle for travel to project sites.
Proven track record in overseeing intricate projects and producing comprehensive monitoring and reporting deliverables.
Proficient in operating diverse data collection and reporting platforms, including Kobe, OK, Google Forms, and Excel/Sheets, among others.
