The M&E Associate plays a pivotal role in executing the Country Office M&E Strategy and M&E Action Plan at the field level. This position involves coordinating all monitoring and evaluation activities within the field office, including overseeing data collection processes, ensuring monitoring insights are reviewed with the field office and partners, and facilitating the escalation of findings for corrective action. The Associate ensures data is submitted for deeper analysis and distributed through appropriate channels to inform operational decisions and strategic adjustments. Professional qualifications, skills, and experiences essential for consideration for this position include:
A bachelor’s degree or higher in Social Sciences, Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), Project Management, Community Development, Development Studies, or Statistics is required.
Requires a minimum of five years of progressively responsible professional experience, with at least one year dedicated to overseeing information systems management, monitoring and evaluating projects, as well as conducting data collection, analysis, and report preparation.
Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative methodologies, analysis, reporting, and dissemination, coupled with the ability to follow up on findings and recommendations, is required.
