We are seeking a highly motivated professional to fill this pivotal position, where the core responsibilities include overseeing key operational processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive project success, and ensuring adherence to organizational standards. The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of five years of relevant experience in a similar capacity, along with a proven track record of delivering measurable results. Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment are essential. Additionally, the role requires a strong understanding of compliance regulations and a commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

Lead the strategic planning, execution, and oversight of CENAC’s initiatives and projects in Kenya.

Forge collaborative alliances with regional civil society organizations, governmental entities, and community stakeholders to enhance mutual objectives and foster sustainable development.

Oversee the preparation and maintenance of project reports and monitoring and evaluation (M&E) data, while upholding rigorous standards of accountability throughout all processes.

Represent CENAC in engagements with stakeholders and during meetings, serving as its official liaison to ensure effective communication and alignment with organizational objectives.

Assist in the creation of proposals and contribute to fundraising initiatives.

Verify that all activities strictly adhere to CENAC’s mission and safeguarding policies.

Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, complemented by a minimum of three years of experience in software development, preferably within the technology sector. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ is essential, along with experience in database management and API integration. Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset are required to thrive in a dynamic team environment. The ideal applicant will demonstrate adaptability, a commitment to continuous learning, and the capacity to deliver high-quality solutions efficiently.

A bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Public Health, Environmental Science, or a closely related discipline is required.

Professional experience in program coordination or management within the nonprofit sector is required.

Accomplished project management expertise, proficiency in generating detailed reports, and exceptional stakeholder engagement capabilities are required.

Proficiency in WASH, environmental, or community development initiatives is highly desirable.

A proactive individual with adaptability as a key strength, currently residing in Kenya.

Earn practical leadership skills by overseeing programs within a rapidly expanding NGO network. Broaden your professional connections through collaborations with organizations across Cameroon, Kenya, and affiliated civil society organizations. Upon program completion, obtain a formal certificate of service along with a personalized recommendation letter.
