Retrieve production schedules or shipping orders and convey materials, products, or equipment to and from specified areas within the facility.
Utilize a forklift to efficiently load and unload goods from trucks, containers, and other vehicles.
Efficiently transport palletized or crated merchandise across the warehouse and storage facilities, ensuring seamless movement and accessibility.
Organize and place merchandise in designated storage areas in compliance with inventory management protocols and established warehouse protocols.
Before dispatch, verify that all loads are securely fastened to ensure safe transit.
Gather empty pallets and organize them systematically in the allocated storage zones.
Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance checks on forklifts, ensuring all critical components such as lubricants, tires, air conditioning, battery or fuel levels, and other vital systems are monitored and kept in optimal condition.
Report any equipment defects, defects, or safety concerns to the supervisor without delay.
Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations by upholding a clean, orderly, and hazard-free workplace.
Support inventory management processes, including stock transfers, cycle counts, and additional warehouse operations as needed.
Execute additional tasks as directed by management or leadership as needed.
