The primary objectives for this Videography role encompass capturing, editing, and delivering high-quality video content that aligns with project objectives and client expectations. Responsibilities include operating professional video equipment, such as cameras, lighting, and audio gear, to produce visually compelling footage. Additionally, the position requires proficiency in video editing software to refine raw footage into polished final products, ensuring seamless transitions, color correction, and consistent branding. Collaboration with creative teams, including directors, producers, and designers, is essential to achieve cohesive visual storytelling. Strong attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to meet tight deadlines are critical to success in this position.

Available from June 8 to June 13, 2026, to support operations across six counties: Kisumu, Vieira, Kaka mega, Nakuru, Machos, and Iamb.

Craft a polished documentary video, ranging from 20 to 25 minutes in duration, that showcases impactful agroecology initiatives led by youth and women, along with their success narratives across the designated counties.

Facilitate structured and insightful interviews with carefully chosen beneficiaries to gather valuable information and perspectives.

Produce high-quality, professional-grade images documenting agro-ecological methods, businesses, and practical demonstrations.

Create a minimum of two short-form video content pieces, each ranging from one to two minutes in duration, specifically designed for social media initiatives and digital narrative projects.

Ensure each video incorporates cohesive branding elements, accurate subtitles and captions, smooth transitions, and engaging storytelling techniques.

Deliver high-definition video content in both edited and unprocessed formats, specifically in MP4 and QuickTime file types.

Submit high-quality photos that have been professionally edited, available in both high-resolution and web-optimized formats suitable for social media.

Collaborate closely with the PLUM Kenya Communications team to guarantee that all produced content adheres to the organization’s established branding and messaging standards.

PLUM Kenya will require the digital versions of the photos and videos to be saved onto a USB drive, which you must procure and subsequently submit to their offices.

The assignment is expected to span a predetermined period, with the exact duration to be agreed upon based on project requirements and mutual availability.

The project will take place from June 8th to June 13th, 2026, spanning six days total—four working days and two travel days—across Kisumu, Vieira, Kaka mega, Nakuru, Machos, and Iamb Counties.

Final deliverables must be submitted within ten (10) business days following the conclusion of the field assignment.

Logistical support responsibilities encompass overseeing and coordinating all operational logistics, ensuring seamless workflows and resource availability. This role requires meticulous planning, efficient inventory management, and the ability to troubleshoot logistical challenges promptly. Key duties include maintaining accurate records, procuring necessary supplies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize delivery timelines. Candidates should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in logistical software to enhance operational efficiency.

PLUM Kenya will provide transport and coordination assistance exclusively throughout the duration of the assignment.

The consultant will cover all additional expenses, such as lodging, meals, and miscellaneous costs.

5REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ASSIGNMENT

The document will provide a detailed overview of the organizational framework, complemented by the professional profiles of essential technical team members allocated to the assignment.

A minimum of five years of hands-on experience in videography, photography, and documentary filmmaking is required.

Skilled in creating detailed documentation of initiatives focused on agriculture, agroecology, climate resilience, youth empowerment, and women empowerment.

Please provide a minimum of three (3) samples or links showcasing comparable documentaries, photo stories, or completed assignments you have worked on.

Professional-level proficiency is demonstrated through expertise in operating high-quality filming, photography, and editing equipment.

A comprehensive financial quotation that distinctly outlines professional fees and associated expenses is required.

A valid Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) Personal Identification Number (PIN) and an up-to-date Tax Compliance Certificate are mandatory requirements for this position.

Company registration documents, such as the CR12, are required for corporate entities.
