Objective

Our esteemed healthcare client is seeking a skilled Theatre Nurse to enhance perioperative services, collaborating closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, efficient, and exceptional patient care throughout surgical procedures.

Oversee and execute core duties encompassing a broad spectrum of tasks central to the role, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Implement strategic initiatives, maintain rigorous compliance with established protocols, and foster collaborative partnerships across departments to drive operational excellence. Analyze performance metrics, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend data-driven solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency. Serve as a liaison between senior leadership and frontline teams, facilitating clear communication and cohesive workflows. Monitor project milestones, mitigate risks, and uphold accountability to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decision-making and maintain a competitive edge.

Prepare the operating theaters meticulously, ensuring all equipment undergoes thorough sterilization and is fully prepared for surgical procedures.

Support surgical and anesthesia teams throughout procedures by supplying necessary instruments and ensuring adherence to sterile protocols.

Skilled professionals are tasked with observing and recording patients’ vital signs at every stage of the surgical process—prior to, throughout, and following the procedure—to ensure their stability and well-being.

Deliver comprehensive nursing care before and after surgical procedures, encompassing patient education and supportive counselling.

Deliver comprehensive scrub, circulating, and post-anesthesia recovery nursing services across a diverse spectrum of surgical specialties.

Adhere rigorously to aseptic protocols and stringent infection control measures to ensure optimal safety and compliance in all procedural environments.

Engage actively in departmental meetings, ongoing medical education (CME) programs, and quality improvement projects to enhance clinical skills and operational excellence.

Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, proper medication usage, and strategies for preventive healthcare to ensure comprehensive understanding and adherence.

Engage collaboratively in comprehensive patient evaluations, develop tailored treatment strategies, oversee ongoing care, and ensure consistent follow-up to maintain therapeutic continuity.

Accurately document surgical procedures and patient progress in comprehensive records to ensure meticulous tracking and compliance with clinical standards.

Maintain strict adherence to all infection prevention and control protocols within the theater environment.

Ensure the safe handling of specimens while maintaining accurate and thorough documentation for laboratory analysis.

Provide assistance during urgent surgical procedures as necessary.
