Role Summary
The Batch Hair Technician plays a pivotal role in enhancing brand credibility and market influence by performing batch testing on all hair care products and monitoring evolving industry trends and consumer demands. Working within the hair care team, this position involves contributing to advanced salon education initiatives and delivering impactful product demonstrations. Based in Kenya, the role is centered on upholding technical precision by ensuring quality control, training professional stylists, salon collaborators, and internal sales representatives. The technician acts as a critical liaison, ensuring products align with quality benchmarks and market expectations while adhering to manufacturing and brand specifications.
Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of critical duties, including but not limited to strategic planning, operational oversight, and cross-functional collaboration to drive organizational success and ensure alignment with company goals. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency, productivity, and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. Analyze performance metrics, financial data, and market trends to identify opportunities for growth, cost optimization, and risk mitigation. Serve as a key liaison with stakeholders, clients, and partners to cultivate strong relationships, negotiate agreements, and facilitate seamless communication. Ensure adherence to legal, ethical, and professional standards while maintaining a commitment to sustainability and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
Quality Assurance professionals are responsible for upholding the product’s adherence to stringent quality standards, as outlined in Hack’s standard operating procedures and aligned with both market benchmarks and consumer expectations. This role ensures that all products consistently meet or exceed predefined criteria for performance, safety, and reliability.
Educational leadership responsibilities encompass creating and implementing the regional training calendar, which features workshops, seminars, and trade show demonstrations.
Technical Sales Support: Collaborate closely with the sales team to enhance product sell-in and deliver comprehensive technical product knowledge training to sales representatives.
Monitor hair care industry trends and competitor actions to propose enhancements to existing products and potential line extensions.
Relationship Management: You will address technical inquiries, address product complaints, and onboard new salon partners, ensuring their satisfaction and retention.
Brand Advocacy: Maintain uniform product application standards and enhance brand recognition within the salon industry to foster a cohesive and professional image.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience is required. Proficiency in [specific tools/technologies] is essential. A strategic and highly organized professional with a strong assertive demeanor and an impeccable sense of grooming.
Outstanding proficiency in hairstyling coupled with a keen awareness of evolving industry trends will be highly advantageous.
