Job Purpose
To expertly prepare, blend, and deliver beverages to guests while upholding exceptional standards of hospitality, hygiene, and customer satisfaction in a polished, prompt, and polite manner.
Key responsibilities include overseeing daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity, managing and motivating team members to achieve organizational goals, developing and implementing strategic plans to drive growth, conducting performance evaluations and providing constructive feedback, resolving conflicts and addressing employee concerns, and maintaining adherence to company policies and industry regulations. Additionally, the role entails analyzing performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, fostering a collaborative work environment, and ensuring seamless communication between departments.
Prepare beverages by combining ingredients, adding garnishes, and presenting both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with established recipes and tailored to individual guest preferences.
Engage guests with professionalism, warmth, and in-depth product knowledge to deliver exceptional service while recommending beverages and promoting premium selections.
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock levels by tracking inventory, initiating replenishment orders, and overseeing the proper storage of spirits, mixers, and garnishes to ensure operational efficiency.
Maintain impeccable cleanliness and hygiene standards within the bar area, ensuring strict adherence to food safety protocols and full compliance with all health regulations.
Accurately process payments, reconcile cash drawers, and generate receipts to ensure financial integrity.
Design signature cocktails and collaborate on the development of seasonal drink offerings to enhance the establishment’s beverage program.
Ensure full compliance with all licensing regulations, responsible alcohol service standards, and established company policies.
Qualifications
A Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality, Food & Beverage, or Mixology is required.
Experienced bartenders and mixologists with a track record of success in resorts, restaurants, or bars are encouraged to apply.
Possesses comprehensive expertise in cocktail formulations, wine selections, beer varieties, and distilled spirits, ensuring a well-rounded understanding of beverage offerings.
Effective verbal and written communication abilities, along with strong interpersonal competencies, are essential.
Demonstrates exceptional composure and adaptability when navigating high-pressure scenarios and rapidly evolving work settings.
