About the role

Strath more School invites applications from dedicated and skilled educators to fill the role of Mathematics and Science & Technology teacher within its Lower Primary division. The chosen applicant will deliver Mathematics instruction as the core subject, in addition to teaching Science and Technology, to students in Grades 1 through 3.

We seek an individual who demonstrates deep subject expertise alongside a sincere passion for engaging with young learners, coupled with the skill to present dynamic, developmentally suitable lessons.

Oversee a diverse range of critical duties encompassing strategic planning, operational execution, and team management to ensure organizational objectives are met efficiently and effectively. Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and performance metrics to optimize workflow and enhance productivity across departments. Lead cross-functional teams by delegating tasks, fostering collaboration, and providing mentorship to cultivate a high-performing work environment. Analyze data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and innovation, while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company standards. Serve as a key liaison between senior leadership and staff, communicating goals, expectations, and feedback to align efforts with broader business strategies.

Develop and instruct engaging, high-quality Mathematics and Science & Technology lessons for students in Grades 1 through 3.

Design engaging and effective learning experiences that align with the Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) and meet educational objectives. Formulate and execute structured instructional activities that foster skill development and knowledge acquisition in accordance with CBC guidelines.

Evaluate learner advancement consistently, offering prompt feedback to foster development.

Accurately document learner attendance, performance, and developmental progress to ensure comprehensive record-keeping.

Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and engaging classroom atmosphere that encourages participation and growth for all students.

Work collaboratively with staff, families, and school administrators to foster an environment that enhances both learner wellbeing and academic success.

Engage in school events, attend staff meetings, and take advantage of professional development offerings to enhance skills and contribute effectively to the school community.

We are seeking candidates who possess the following critical qualifications and relevant experience. Applicants should have a minimum of [X] years of experience in [specific field or role], along with a proven track record in [key skill or responsibility].
