Job Summary

The Doctor Liaison Officer will proactively cultivate relationships with physicians currently affiliated with 3rd Park Hospital, ensuring they receive robust support to enhance their professional capabilities and deliver superior patient care. Through strategic engagement, the role seeks to identify avenues for improved physician retention, address communication inefficiencies, and effectively promote the hospital’s evolving capabilities and service offerings to the medical community.

Oversee a diverse range of critical tasks encompassing strategic planning, operational oversight, and team leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering a culture of accountability and innovation. Develop, implement, and monitor key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement and measure departmental success. Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and revenue enhancement. Lead and mentor high-performing teams by providing clear direction, constructive feedback, and professional development opportunities. Analyze complex data to identify trends, mitigate risks, and inform data-driven decision-making. Serve as a primary point of contact for senior leadership, presenting insights, progress reports, and actionable recommendations. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, internal policies, and ethical standards while maintaining a strong focus on sustainability and corporate responsibility.

Foster robust professional connections with admitting and referring physicians to ensure seamless collaboration and continuity of care.

Facilitate seamless patient referral workflows and enhance inter-specialty collaboration to ensure comprehensive care coordination.

Address communication inefficiencies to enhance physician satisfaction levels and foster higher retention rates.

Serve as the primary liaison for addressing physician inquiries and resolving issues.

Provide current information regarding the latest advancements in hospital technologies, equipment, and services to ensure stakeholders remain informed.

Collaborate with physicians to gather their insights and promptly elevate any issues to senior leadership for resolution.

Collaborate effectively with insurance and finance departments to facilitate seamless pre-authorization processes and timely payment settlements.

Ensure precise documentation of physician engagements within the CRM system.

Attend networking events, seminars, and meetings on behalf of the hospital to enhance relationships and promote institutional visibility.

Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a closely related discipline is required.

Requires a minimum of four to five years of professional experience in healthcare sales, physician relations, or a comparable liaison capacity.

Exceptional interpersonal skills are essential, encompassing the ability to communicate effectively, build and maintain professional networks, and cultivate meaningful relationships. Proficiency in fostering connections and managing stakeholder interactions is required.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is required.

Proficiency in medical terminology and familiarity with hospital operations are essential.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) represent measurable metrics utilized to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of an individual’s or team’s contributions toward achieving strategic objectives. These quantifiable benchmarks serve as critical tools for assessing progress, ensuring accountability, and aligning performance with organizational goals. Through regular monitoring and analysis of KPIs, stakeholders can identify areas of strength, pinpoint opportunities for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to optimize productivity and outcomes.

Consistent staffing in each medical specialty is maintained to ensure high-quality patient care. This involves assigning a stable group of physicians to each specialty area, thereby fostering expertise and continuity. Regular and predictable physician availability helps reduce delays in treatment and improves overall operational efficiency. A dependable allocation of doctors across specialties also enhances collaboration among healthcare teams and supports better patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include conducting face-to-face meetings with referring physicians to discuss patient care and treatment plans.
