Job Summary

As a Domain Consultant specializing in network security transformation, you deliver specialized technical guidance and expertise to support customers throughout their network security and zero trust initiatives. Your role will be pivotal in designing and implementing tailored technical solutions that safeguard critical business objectives. Additionally, you will champion our industry-leading capabilities in on-premises, cloud, and security services, solidifying Palo Alto Networks as the trusted cybersecurity partner of choice for customers.

Oversee and execute essential duties, including managing daily operations, coordinating team activities, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance productivity, efficiency, and performance across departments. Monitor workflows, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to optimize processes. Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and accountability to achieve key targets. Maintain compliance with industry regulations and internal policies while upholding high standards of quality and professionalism. Provide leadership in budget planning, resource allocation, and risk management to support sustainable growth. Ensure effective communication with stakeholders to align expectations and drive project success.

Conduct and facilitate customer demonstrations that effectively highlight our distinctive value proposition, ensuring a clear and compelling presentation of our offerings to potential clients.

Ensures prospective customers and partners successfully complete Technical Validation projects by adhering to industry best practices, thereby securing technical wins in assigned opportunities.

Design innovative solutions aimed at enhancing and streamlining customers’ security frameworks to bolster their overall protection and efficiency.

Develop comprehensive high-level design documentation alongside essential use cases to guarantee correct implementation and fulfillment of value from Palo Alto Networks solutions.

Facilitate discussions on current industry trends and evolving developments within the security landscape.

Responsible for engaging in discussions to underscore how the product aligns with customer needs while emphasizing its unique advantages.

As the primary technical liaison for Network Security, you will provide support and collaborate to address RBIs/RFPs, recommending Palo Alto Networks solutions or partner-delivered services where suitable to ensure seamless implementation and maximize the value of Palo Alto Networks offerings.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required. Five or more years of experience in software development is essential, with at least three years in a leadership or mentorship role. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ is mandatory. Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills are also necessary. Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies in a team environment is preferred. Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus.

Your Experience

Professional candidates must possess prior hands-on experience in pre-sales or sales engineering roles, specifically within Zero Trust, networking, network security, SaaS security, or emerging security frameworks such as SSE (Security Service Edge) and SASE (Secure Access Service Edge).

Exceptional proficiency in customer interaction and resolution of inquiries, coupled with strong analytical abilities to address issues efficiently, are essential.

Demonstrated expertise in customer interaction, coupled with a proven ability to resolve issues efficiently and maintain a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

Proficiency in Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) technology, network security principles, Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASE), proxy solutions, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) frameworks is essential.

Proven expertise in both on-premises and cloud-based network security solutions is required, encompassing a comprehensive understanding of their architecture, deployment models, and operational frameworks.
