KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop enduring collaborations with clients by gaining deep insights into their supply chain complexities while fostering robust connections with both current and prospective customers.

Serve as the key liaison for customer inquiries, providing prompt and efficient communication regarding important trends, rate adjustments, and policy updates for your designated accounts.

The sales team will provide updates and feedback regarding opportunities as well as the execution of Ocean and Landside contracts.

Consistently evaluate customers’ progress in achieving their defined objectives while ensuring the realization of anticipated outcomes across adoption, usage, business value, friction points, and overall relationship quality.

Facilitate client engagement by collaborating with the Sales team to conduct customer visits and interactions, identifying business requirements and customer needs, and providing tailored support solutions accordingly.

As a customer advocate, your primary responsibility will involve addressing and resolving customer inquiries and account-related concerns in a timely and efficient manner, drawing on support from various departments within the organization as necessary.

Oversee the allocation process and collaborate with clients to guarantee adherence to their commitments.

Oversee the tender preparation and contracting activities while collaborating closely with the Tender Contract Management (TCM) team to deliver a thorough and competitive proposal to clients.

Collaborate with key stakeholders to facilitate the L&S Quoting & Contracting process.

Ensure all contracts are renewed promptly while overseeing effective contract management practices.

Foster meaningful connections with customers, guiding them seamlessly from initial contract negotiations through to service performance and ensuring their satisfaction at every stage.

Oversee the distribution of resources to the contract fulfillment process, both internally and externally.

Provide assistance in resolving issues and facilitate transactional activities to advance the One Team Sales (ITS) initiative.

Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive follow-up and implementing strategic initiatives is essential.

The role involves engaging directly with clients to assess their business requirements and identify how best to provide support. This includes conducting customer visits to gain a deeper understanding of their operational needs and challenges.

The Sales team’s dedicated Learning and Development Specialist will drive training initiatives and professional growth opportunities across the department. This role involves designing, implementing, and evaluating programs to enhance team performance and skill development. Candidates must possess strong instructional design capabilities and a proven track record of fostering continuous learning within a sales environment. Responsibilities include creating tailored training materials, facilitating workshops, and assessing program effectiveness to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Someone with:

Possesses a minimum of three to five years of professional experience in customer service, logistics, or freight forwarding.

Demonstrated expertise in overseeing comprehensive shipment operations from origin to destination, along with cultivating and maintaining strong customer relationships throughout the process.

Proven expertise in managing intricate accounts and high-priority escalations with a results-driven approach. Demonstrated ability to navigate multifaceted client relationships while maintaining professionalism under pressure. Strong problem-solving skills to resolve challenging issues efficiently and effectively.

Proven expertise in a commercial capacity within the logistics sector, specializing in designing and implementing tailored solutions for clients operating in the Reefer and FMCG verticals.

Accomplished expertise in business-to-business sales, with a preference for companies operating within the shipping, logistics, or transportation sectors, is required.

Proven expertise in consultative and value-driven selling methodologies, coupled with a strong focus on delivering tailored solutions to meet client needs.

An individual who demonstrates initiative, an entrepreneurial spirit, and unwavering dedication is essential for this role. Prospective candidates must possess the ability to work autonomously while maintaining a proactive and innovative approach to their responsibilities.
