The ideal candidate will spearhead revenue growth, cultivate key client partnerships, uncover new business prospects, and broaden the company’s presence in regional markets. Candidates must possess a commercially astute background with a track record in selling ICT equipment, technology solutions, networking infrastructure, security systems, data center solutions, or comparable products and services.
The successful applicant should exhibit extensive regional market experience beyond Kenya and showcase a proven ability to meet sales targets, handle key accounts, and finalize high-value B2B agreements.
Key duties involve managing and overseeing daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity, developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve organizational goals, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to align on projects and initiatives. Additionally, the role entails analyzing performance metrics to identify areas for improvement, leading process enhancements to optimize workflows, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Responsibilities also include mentoring and coaching team members to foster professional growth, preparing and presenting reports to senior leadership, and driving innovation to stay competitive in the market.
Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within Kenya and across regional markets.
Drive sales of ICT infrastructure, ELF systems, and advanced technology solutions across corporate, government, NGO, education, and commercial sectors.
Craft and implement strategic sales initiatives designed to meet and exceed established revenue growth objectives.
Oversee the full spectrum of the sales process, encompassing lead generation, opportunity development, and deal closure, followed by ongoing client relationship management.
Craft proposals, quotes, presentations, and tender submissions with precision and professionalism.
Develop and nurture enduring connections with both current and potential clients to foster long-term partnerships.
Analyze clients’ business requirements to develop and recommend tailored technology solutions.
Facilitate consistent client engagements through on-site meetings, strategic presentations, and interactive product demonstrations.
Deliver exceptional service to uphold and elevate customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Explore and cultivate business prospects within regional markets spanning East Africa and various Sub-Saharan African countries.
We analyze evolving industry trends, track competitor actions, and identify emerging technologies to inform strategic decision-making.
Develop innovative strategies to explore untapped market segments and capitalize on emerging growth opportunities.
Compile projections of future sales performance, track the progression of potential deals through the pipeline, and provide regular updates on business development initiatives.
Deliver comprehensive market intelligence and actionable strategic recommendations to senior leadership to inform decision-making processes.
Contribute to the formulation and execution of sales strategies to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets.
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in a comparable role. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in industry-standard software and tools, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities is required, as is a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required.
A minimum of five years of hands-on experience in B2B sales within the ICT, ELF, telecommunications, networking, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or technology solutions sectors is required.
Proven track record in the sale of ICT equipment and technology solutions.
Demonstrates a track record of successfully managing and expanding operations in international markets beyond Kenya.
A comprehensive knowledge of ICT infrastructure, networking protocols, security frameworks, data center technologies, or similar advanced systems is required.
Proven expertise in crafting compelling proposals, delivering persuasive presentations, and conducting skillful negotiations is essential.
Demonstrated expertise in commercial strategy and a proven track record in finalizing high-value agreements.
Proven capability to cultivate and sustain high-level client relationships at the executive tier.
Solid experience with Customer Relationship Management platforms and the Microsoft Office Suite is required.
Demonstrates flexibility to undertake travel within Kenya and to other countries within the region as and when necessary.
