Job Requirements:
The People and Culture Intern will offer administrative, operational, and coordination assistance to the People and Culture Department. This position involves supporting employee records management, recruitment efforts, onboarding processes, leave administration, employee communication, training coordination, Foundation activities, staff engagement initiatives, and general HR operations.
Oversee and perform a diverse range of tasks critical to the role, ensuring all operational and strategic objectives are met efficiently. Responsibilities include managing daily workflows, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and executing projects from inception to completion with precision. Ensure the precision and organization of employee records, personnel files, and HR databases by maintaining and updating them regularly.
Deliver comprehensive administrative assistance for recruitment initiatives, encompassing coordination of interviews, correspondence with candidates, facilitation of onboarding procedures, and execution of induction programs.
Oversee the management of leave, attendance, and employee records systems, maintaining timely updates and ensuring accurate reporting.
Compose, circulate, and manage internal HR communications, official notices, and employee correspondence to ensure clarity and consistency across all messaging.
Develop and oversee employee training initiatives by managing scheduling, handling logistical arrangements, monitoring attendance, and maintaining accurate training records.
Facilitate the strategic planning and implementation of Foundation, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and community engagement initiatives.
Compile, manage, and routinely renew HR reports, trackers, databases, and other departmental documentation to ensure accuracy and accessibility at all times.
Assist with the organization of employee welfare programs, staff engagement events, hospital visits, bereavement support services, and employee recognition initiatives.
Organize meetings, prepare all necessary materials, document detailed minutes, and deliver comprehensive administrative support to the Human Resource Department.
Execute a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to facilitate the seamless provision of HR services and advance departmental goals.
Assigned tasks may include additional responsibilities as determined by the manager and/or senior leadership.
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline along with a minimum of three years of professional experience in a comparable role. Fluency in English is essential, while proficiency in additional languages is considered an advantage. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required to address complex challenges effectively. Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools is necessary, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment is expected. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities are also a must.
A bachelor’s degree, diploma, or higher diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Sociology, Public Relations, or a closely related discipline is required.
A motivated individual who has recently completed their academic studies or is currently in their final year of a degree program is eager to gain hands-on experience in the human resources field.
Membership or active certification with the Institute for Human Resource Management (HRM) will be considered a valuable asset to your application.
