We seek an experienced Channel Manager – OTC Supermarket to join our Consumer Health business unit. The successful applicant must demonstrate extensive expertise in key account management and FMCG channel sales leadership, along with a track record of revenue growth, sales team excellence, and the ability to cultivate strategic retail partnerships within the supermarket sector.

The position will involve crafting and implementing strategic initiatives to expand market presence, enhance product recognition, and meet sales objectives within the modern trade segment.

Responsibilities encompass providing leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring all projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Key duties involve developing and executing strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing effective solutions. The role requires collaborating with cross-functional teams to align business objectives with project deliverables, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Additionally, the position demands monitoring team performance, addressing challenges proactively, and ensuring adherence to company policies and industry regulations. Strong communication skills are essential to convey expectations clearly and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Develop and execute innovative channel strategies aimed at enhancing revenue, profitability, market share, and sales objectives within the modern trade channel, while proactively identifying emerging business opportunities and market trends to further solidify the OTC presence.

Ensure that products are consistently available, prominently displayed, and merchandised effectively across all supermarket locations. Work closely with marketing and category teams to enhance in-store execution and strengthen brand visibility.

Deliver exceptional leadership in driving operational excellence, enhancing customer engagement strategies, optimizing merchandising initiatives, and ensuring strict compliance adherence. Cultivate an environment of high performance, seamless collaboration, and unwavering customer focus to elevate the sales culture.

Analyze sales performance metrics and generate comprehensive weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports. Deliver precise sales forecasts and demand projections to enhance supply chain planning efforts. Collect and disseminate market intelligence, including competitor activity, product performance metrics, evolving customer trends, and pricing fluctuations.

Key Account and Relationship Management involves cultivating and sustaining robust partnerships with supermarket chains, convenience stores, metro-marts, distributors, and other pivotal decision-makers. This role includes negotiating favorable trading terms, securing product listings, finalizing pricing structures, optimizing shelf placements, organizing promotional initiatives, and establishing visibility agreements to enhance market presence.

Account Planning involves developing and implementing customized account strategies and promotional initiatives, collaborating with key stakeholders to negotiate mutually beneficial joint business plans, and ensuring their successful execution.

Seeking candidates with a proven track record in the specified field, complemented by relevant academic credentials and hands-on experience. Essential requirements include a minimum of [X years] of professional experience, proficiency in [specific skills or tools], and a strong understanding of [industry standards or methodologies].
