Spearhead the strategic design, execution, and evaluation of all CENAC programs operating in Kenya.
Cultivate strategic relationships with local civil society organizations, governmental bodies, and community groups to foster collaboration and shared objectives.
Oversee the preparation and maintenance of project reports and monitoring and evaluation (M&E) data to uphold transparency and accountability standards throughout project implementation.
At CENAC, you will serve as the primary representative during engagements with stakeholders and during meetings, effectively advocating for the organization’s interests and ensuring clear communication of its positions.
Assist in the creation of proposals and lead fundraising initiatives to secure necessary resources.

Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, complemented by at least three years of hands-on experience in software development, preferably within a collaborative team setting. Proficiency in multiple programming languages, including Java, Python, or C++, is essential, along with a strong grasp of algorithms and data structures. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, as well as DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines, will be advantageous. Exceptional problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and effective communication skills are critical for success in this role. The ideal applicant should demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and adaptability in a dynamic technological landscape.
A bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Public Health, Environmental Science, or a closely related discipline is required.
With a proven track record in program coordination or management within the nonprofit or non-governmental organization (NGO) sector, candidates are expected to bring relevant expertise to this role. Demonstrated success in overseeing programs, ensuring compliance with organizational goals, and fostering strategic partnerships will be highly valued. Familiarity with donor reporting, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional team leadership is essential for effective execution in this position.
