Job Description
Deliver technical assistance to maintain optimal laboratory operations and functionality.
Provide assistance to faculty members and learners in the disciplines of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Agriculture.
Responsibilities include overseeing the upkeep, calibration, and organization of laboratory equipment, materials, and inventory systems to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
Develop hands-on exercises and educational resources to support instructional objectives.
Maintain adherence to laboratory safety protocols and ensure the correct disposal of waste materials.
Prepare reports and fulfill other assigned responsibilities as required.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field is mandatory. Candidates must possess a minimum of five years of progressive experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or strategic planning. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent communication skills are required to convey complex financial information clearly. The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment is crucial. Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role is highly desirable but not required.
A Bachelor of Science degree in Laboratory Technology or an equivalent discipline is required.
A minimum of one to three years of hands-on experience within a scientific laboratory environment is required.
You must hold valid registration with the appropriate professional organizations.
Proficiency in quality assurance principles and accreditation standards is required.
Proven ability to communicate effectively, collaborate efficiently, and uphold strong ethical standards.
