Oversee critical operational tasks to ensure seamless workflow and adherence to organizational standards, including managing daily activities, coordinating team efforts, and maintaining high performance levels. Execute strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity, fostering innovation, and aligning processes with long-term business objectives. Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline communication, resolve complex challenges, and drive sustainable growth across departments. Monitor key performance indicators to assess progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective measures as needed. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and best practices while upholding quality and efficiency in all deliverables.

Providing first aid, addressing minor illnesses and injuries, and responding to medical emergencies, you will safeguard the health and well-being of students and staff. Additionally, you will administer prescribed medication, maintain confidential medical records, and offer tailored support to students with special health needs.

To foster awareness of preventive health measures, infection control practices, hygiene standards, nutrition, and mental well-being, while ensuring appropriate referrals to external healthcare providers as needed.

Collaborating with students, parents, educators, school leadership, medical professionals, and public health authorities, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining a secure, healthy, and nurturing educational setting for all.

To support health risk surveillance, manage medical supplies, facilitate adherence to school health protocols, and ensure compliance with emergency response and safeguarding measures.

Leads health promotion and screening initiatives within the school environment, demonstrating expertise in health provider referral protocols.

Educate both students and staff on essential healthy habits, including proper nutrition and hygiene practices, among other topics.

The requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred. Minimum of five years of hands-on experience in software development, with a focus on full-stack development. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript is essential. Strong understanding of database management, API integration, and cloud services is necessary. Experience with agile methodologies and version control systems, such as Git, is required. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment are critical. Prior experience in a leadership or mentoring role is a plus.

A recognized university or School of nursing must grant a Bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Li censure as a registered nurse with the Nursing Council of Kenya is mandatory for this position.

Minimum of two to three years of hands-on nursing practice is required, with preference given to candidates who have worked in school-based, pediatric, adolescent, or community health environments.

Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required for this position.

Integrity and an unwavering dedication to ethical principles are essential attributes for this position.

Familiarity with typical childhood growth patterns and associated health concerns at each developmental phase is required.

Experienced in administering first aid and addressing common childhood illnesses and minor medical conditions effectively.
