Job Description
We are seeking a results-driven individual to oversee and enhance our business performance initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in data interpretation, and the ability to drive strategic decision-making. Key responsibilities include monitoring key performance indicators, identifying trends, and implementing process improvements to optimize operational efficiency. A bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, or a related field is required, along with at least three years of experience in business analysis, performance management, or a similar role. Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or other analytical tools is essential, as is the ability to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders at all levels. This position plays a critical role in shaping the company’s growth trajectory through data-driven insights and continuous improvement efforts.
Develop periodic budgets and forecasts on a consistent basis.
The incumbent will evaluate monthly Profit & Loss statements and end-of-month financial reports, pinpointing variances from established business plan objectives.
Attend management meetings to evaluate progress toward fulfilling business plan objectives and assist in formulating the department’s annual business plan.
Operation
Develop and maintain the departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Manual, which outlines performance benchmarks, policies, procedures, and service standards essential for the smooth functioning of the kitchen. This manual must align with the hotel’s established policies, standards, and applicable municipal regulations to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
Collaborate closely with the Senior Culinary team to spearhead the creation and refinement of innovative menus and products, leveraging meticulous analysis and precise costing to ensure both culinary excellence and financial viability.
Responsible for directing the planning and execution of impactful food promotions, ensuring alignment with marketing strategies and business objectives.
Conduct weekly walkthroughs to maintain organization and cleanliness throughout departmental areas.
To uphold stringent food safety standards and comply with the hotel’s established food safety and hygiene protocols, including HACCP guidelines, the department must rigorously enforce all necessary management and precautionary measures.
Oversee food safety and quality control measures across all Outlets to ensure compliance with established standards.
Ensure all departmental reports, schedules, standard recipes, menus, food presentation photographs, and correspondence are prepared with precision and submitted promptly.
Conduct comprehensive research to analyze market demands and emerging trends, specifically focusing on food menu offerings tailored to both hotel guests and the local community.
Collaborate closely with departmental leaders in cross-functional areas to cultivate and sustain productive professional relationships.
Engage with local community representatives and prospective guests as needed to foster meaningful connections and gather valuable insights.
Conducts additional duties as assigned, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and operational needs. Performs various tasks to support team objectives and maintain workflow efficiency. Addresses ad hoc requests and special projects as required by management. Contributes to overall departmental success through dependable and proactive assistance.
Possess thorough expertise in all aspects of food and beverage services, including inventory, preparation techniques, available outlets, and the hotel’s various services and features.
Ensure strict adherence to hotel food safety and hygiene protocols, specifically those outlined under HACCP standards.
Possess comprehensive knowledge of fire and life safety protocols, as well as emergency procedures specific to the hotel industry.
Ensure full participation in all scheduled briefings, meetings, and training sessions directed by management.
Always uphold a professional and polished personal presentation while ensuring impeccable hygiene standards at all times.
Execute any additional tasks deemed appropriate and assigned by hotel management.
