The Marketing Executive will play a key role in developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives, including campaign management, product positioning, market research, and stakeholder outreach, all while adhering to brand standards and local regulatory frameworks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support product launches throughout East Africa by collaborating with Head Office Marketing and local teams. Assist in executing brand strategies, creating promotional materials, and tracking brand performance to ensure adherence to business goals and regulatory standards.
Execute marketing initiatives and engagement programs aimed at healthcare professionals, institutions, and trade partners. Analyze campaign effectiveness, gather market feedback, and deliver actionable insights to drive ongoing enhancements.
Oversee vendor, agency, and supplier partnerships to facilitate the punctual creation and delivery of marketing materials while upholding stringent cost management, documentation adherence, and quality benchmarks across all projects.
You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive market research and competitive intelligence, analyzing competitor strategies, pricing fluctuations, and emerging market trends. Additionally, you will develop insightful reports and actionable recommendations to inform brand strategy, drive commercial planning, and fuel business expansion.
Business Analytics: Develop and oversee management reports, dashboards, and performance analyses focused on sales, campaigns, tenders, and market trends. Provide precise and prompt reporting facilitating informed business decision-making.
Provide tender and institutional support by coordinating documentation, schedules, and inputs across departments to facilitate tender participation and business opportunities. Maintain meticulous tender records and assist in compiling submissions, product dossiers, and institutional presentations.
Cross-functional collaboration is essential, as you will work closely with sales, regulatory, supply chain, finance, distributors, and Head Office Marketing teams to advance key business initiatives. In this role, you will contribute valuable market insights, facilitate training programs, and drive the effective execution of marketing and commercial priorities.
Seeking candidates with a robust academic background and a minimum of three years of relevant experience in the specified field. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are required to collaborate effectively across departments. A commitment to continuous learning and adaptability to evolving industry trends is highly valued. Additional certifications or specialized training in related areas are advantageous.
An MBA or equivalent management qualification is advantageous.
A bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
Seeking candidates with at least five years of professional experience in pharmaceutical marketing, communications, brand coordination, or commercial support roles.
Experience with pharmaceutical product launches, promotional initiatives, institutional sales, or tender management will be considered advantageous.
With a proven track record in East Africa’s pharmaceutical sector, you bring valuable hands-on experience navigating diverse markets within the region. Your expertise encompasses a deep understanding of regulatory landscapes, distribution channels, and key stakeholders across East African countries.
