What You’ll Do
Execute consumer marketing initiatives throughout East Africa, simultaneously providing strategic support for culturally tailored campaigns in other Sub-Saharan African regions.
Collaborate with various cross-functional teams, including marketing, music, partnerships, media, analytics, and creative, to develop and implement campaigns from initial strategy through to final execution.
Leverage both on-platform and off-platform insights to pinpoint audience behaviors, market opportunities, and key growth drivers, thereby shaping and refining the marketing strategy.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agency partners to craft well-defined creative and media briefs.
Spearhead strategies to attract, engage, and retain users across both Free and Premium segments, fostering sustained growth and long-term loyalty.
Forging strategic alliances with local organizations, influencers, content creators, marketing agencies, and culturally relevant entities is essential to amplifying brand recognition and fostering consumer interest.
Assess campaign effectiveness and convert insights into practical guidance for upcoming initiatives and market approaches.
Tailor worldwide marketing strategies to align with regional nuances, ensuring campaigns effectively engage varied consumer segments and adapt seamlessly to distinct market conditions.
Collaborate with internal teams and regional partners to facilitate impactful marketing initiatives that celebrate local music and cultural events.
Who You Are
With a minimum of four years of experience in consumer marketing, brand marketing, or campaign management within East Africa, you bring a proven track record to our team.
You possess a proven track record of operating successfully in diverse Sub-Saharan African markets or executing impactful regional campaigns.
You possess a strong background in brand strategy, consumer insights, digital marketing, media, and/or project management, demonstrating a well-rounded expertise in these key areas.
You have successfully executed high-impact digital marketing campaigns across industries such as digital businesses, FMCG, retail, entertainment, or technology.
Proficient in leveraging consumer and cultural insights to develop compelling marketing strategies and campaigns that drive engagement and results.
You possess a strong aptitude for analyzing data and performance metrics to assess outcomes and enhance marketing efficiency.
You must possess the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively while consistently delivering high-quality results with meticulous attention to detail.
You thrive in collaborative environments, seamlessly engaging with diverse teams, agencies, and stakeholders, each bringing unique perspectives and priorities to the table.
