Role Context
The PR & Communications Associate will play a key role in advancing Prudential Kenya’s public relations and communications strategy by enhancing media engagement, producing compelling content, fostering internal communication efforts, organizing PR events, and contributing to crisis and reputational risk management initiatives.
This position will uphold and strengthen the Prudential brand by delivering uniform, prompt, and regulation-compliant messaging across every internal and external interaction.
Responsible for overseeing key client relationships and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services, the Principal Accountabilities include managing a portfolio of accounts, identifying opportunities for growth, and maintaining strong communication with stakeholders. They are expected to develop and implement strategic plans that align with business objectives, as well as monitor performance metrics to assess progress. Media relations and communications specialists are responsible for fostering and maintaining relationships with journalists, influencers, and media outlets to enhance brand visibility and reputation. Oversee the internal approval processes and maintain version control for all communication materials.
