Knowledge:
A strong grasp of the insurance sector is essential, particularly in medical/health insurance products, policy frameworks, and benefit design.
Proficient in medical loss ratio management, claims analysis, and underwriting principles for group medical schemes.
Proficiency in Kenya’s insurance-specific Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulatory frameworks, as outlined by the Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA), is required.
A familiarity with wellness program frameworks and principles of chronic disease management (CDMP) would be beneficial.
