Responsibilities
Under the purview of assigned authority and contingent upon geographic jurisdiction, a Driver at this tier may undertake the following responsibilities:
Ensures the secure and safe operation of vehicles while transporting authorized personnel to designated locations.
Responsible for gathering and transporting mail, documents, and other materials to designated locations.
Facilitates the arrival process by welcoming official personnel at the airport and assists with all necessary immigration and customs procedures as mandated.
Responsible for performing routine maintenance on assigned vehicles, including checking fluid levels, battery condition, brake function, tire pressure, and other essential components. Executes minor repairs independently and coordinates professional servicing when necessary, while also maintaining vehicle cleanliness standards.
Maintains meticulous records of official travel, daily mileage logs, fuel consumption, scheduled oil changes, and routine greasing activities, among other operational details.
Ensures compliance with all regulatory protocols and procedural steps in the event of an accident.
Assists in gathering and evaluating data, compiling it into clear presentations and reports to facilitate information sharing, respond to inquiries, manage knowledge, and support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
Provides support in developing visual representations and maintaining current informational resources, including digital platforms like websites and printed materials such as brochures.
Assumes additional responsibilities as required to support operational objectives and team goals.
Education
A minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent is mandatory for this role.
Seeking a candidate with a minimum of five years of experience in a related field, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline. The ideal applicant will possess strong analytical abilities, exceptional communication skills, and proficiency in industry-standard software. Familiarity with regulatory compliance and project management methodologies is highly desirable. Responsibilities include conducting detailed research, preparing comprehensive reports, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring adherence to organizational protocols.
A valid category B and C driver’s license is a mandatory prerequisite for this position, along with completion of driver training.
As part of this role, you will need to have at least three years of relevant work experience in a similar position. This could include roles in project management, customer service, or technical support. Your background should demonstrate a proven ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality. Additionally, experience with industry-specific software or tools will be considered a strong advantage. You should also be able to showcase your problem-solving skills and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
A minimum of one year of experience in professional driving services, accompanied by a proven track record of safe driving practices, is required.
Proficiency in operating diverse vehicle types, including vans and other motorized models, is a prerequisite for this role.
Professional driving experience within an international organization, such as the United Nations or an equivalent entity, is a prerequisite for this role.
Desired qualifications include hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance.
