Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of key responsibilities, including strategic planning, team leadership, and operational oversight to drive organizational success. Conducting training needs assessments and analyses involves pinpointing organizational, departmental, and individual training requirements by evaluating performance reviews, skills gaps, employee feedback, and business performance metrics. This process ensures that training initiatives are strategically aligned with company objectives and individual career growth aspirations.
Develop, review, and refine training materials—such as manuals, presentations, and learning programs—to ensure they remain current, incorporating emerging industry trends, advancements in technology, updated company procedures, regulatory mandates, and shifting business demands.
Employee Learning and Development: Create and execute tailored training programs to strengthen technical skills, leadership acumen, product expertise, and overall job effectiveness, fostering both individual career advancement and robust organizational succession planning.
Ensure meticulous documentation and management of employee training records, encompassing certifications, attendance, assessments, and developmental progress, to uphold compliance standards, facilitate accurate reporting, and enable effective workforce planning.
Workforce Planning and Organizational Development: Collaborate with management to develop and execute workforce planning initiatives, encompassing talent development, organizational restructuring, and performance management. Implement HR strategies designed to boost employee engagement, productivity, and overall organizational efficiency.
We are seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, engineering, or business administration, along with a minimum of three years of professional experience in a related industry. Fluency in English is essential, and additional language skills are advantageous. The ideal applicant will demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, exceptional organizational skills, and the capacity to work effectively in fast-paced environments. Familiarity with industry-standard software and tools, as well as a proven track record in project management, will be highly valued.
A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline is required.
An MBA is considered a valuable asset.
With a minimum of four to seven years of hands-on training experience specifically within the pharmaceutical sector, the ideal candidate will bring a wealth of practical knowledge and industry expertise to the role.
A minimum of three to five years of experience in a leadership capacity, overseeing cross-functional teams, is required.
A familiarity with Kenya’s pharmaceutical landscape and regulatory framework would be advantageous.
Experts must demonstrate a thorough understanding of pharmaceutical products and the intricacies of pharma sales.
Demonstrates strong strategic thinking by effectively aligning training initiatives with organizational goals and objectives.
