POSITION SUMMARY:
The Data Analyst Team Lead, reporting into the Senior Manager Data Products will lead the development of data-as-a-product solutions to the market. You will be required to have a deep understanding of producer, market partner and consumer data needs, and the ability to translate these into a set of data solutions, with clear priorities and roadmap for delivery. You will also be required to have a vision on how that can be translated into insights that will drive positive impact for our producer partners and planet. You will be responsible for ensuring that the data products released are fit for purpose and deliver optimal value.
You will collaborate with the Senior Manager of Data Products to jointly develop the roadmap for data delivery, prioritize team assignments, and mentor colleagues to elevate their technical skills and expertise.
You will allocate approximately half of your time to leading teams and advancing strategic initiatives, with the remaining half dedicated to executing operational project tasks firsthand.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Oversee a team comprising 3 to 4 data analysts to ensure optimal performance and alignment with organizational objectives.
Proactively engage in initiatives from their inception to provide early input on data-related requirements, ensuring alignment and integration of data considerations throughout the project lifecycle.
To ensure ongoing proficiency, you will maintain current knowledge of advancements in data reporting technologies.
Gathering reporting requirements directly from external clients and prospective customers.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to generate and communicate externally focused insights derived from data analysis, ensuring that findings are translated into actionable strategies.
Collaborate effectively with Product Managers to incorporate all necessary data requirements into the specifications for tooling systems.
Collaborate effectively with the data engineering team to synchronize project roadmaps, oversee interdependencies, and recommend innovative data engineering solutions.
Enhance reporting functions across analytics teams through ongoing refinement and optimization efforts.
Spearheads the deployment of dashboards throughout the organization and collaborates with the Implementation team to facilitate seamless project rollouts.
Facilitating collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure cohesive execution of the customer rollout strategy.
Periodically engaging with field colleagues and key stakeholders engaged in data collection, assess potential biases and reporting risks, then deliver insightful reports that empower them to recognize and mitigate these issues.
Establish a structured and systematic approach to collecting regional insights, transforming them into actionable data for internal reporting, thereby fostering strategies that originate from the ground up.

WHAT YOU BRING:
A bachelor’s degree is required, with demonstrated proficiency in mathematics, statistics, and/or data analysis.
With a minimum of seven years of hands-on experience in data reporting and analysis,
With at least one year of hands-on management experience—or its equivalent in coaching, mentoring, and training junior team members—you bring a proven track record of leadership development and team guidance to the role.

Efficient and effective use of data visualization platforms, specifically Power BI and Tableau, is essential.
Proficient command of the English language is essential for this role, encompassing both written and verbal communication skills. Strong proficiency in English, including grammar, syntax, and pronunciation, is required to ensure effective interaction with colleagues and stakeholders. Excellent communication abilities in English are necessary to articulate ideas clearly and participate in diverse professional settings.
