The Role

The Labour Market Integration & Human Resource Administrator (LMA & HR) represents an entry-level position strategically positioned within Nairobi’ Programs and Partnerships Department. This role functions as a pivotal connection between Nairobi graduates and prospective employers, facilitating the development of collaborative partnerships with businesses. Additionally, the officer will mentor graduates in career preparedness, monitor post-training employment outcomes, and deliver comprehensive human resource and administrative support to enhance organizational operations.

Construct and manage a dynamic employer database to monitor engagement status, identify placement opportunities, and uphold partnership agreements.

Partner with the communications team to organize job fairs, employer engagement events, and on-campus recruitment activities.

Facilitate the negotiation and formal documentation of placement agreements, memoranda of understanding (Mouse), and internship frameworks in collaboration with partner organizations.

With a graduate placement rate of 90%, Nairobi ensures that its program participants secure employment, internships, or freelance opportunities within three, six, and twelve months following their training completion.

We aim to establish and maintain active employer partnerships by securing signed Memorandums of Understanding (Mouse) or placement agreements with new employers, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and technology firms. Our objective is to onboard between 10 and 15 new partners each quarter.

HR Compliance and Turnaround Time – Achieving a 95% completion rate for all HR processes, including contracts, confirmations, payroll updates, and leave records, with accuracy and adherence to agreed timelines. The objective is to consistently meet or exceed a 95% on-time completion target while ensuring zero statutory compliance breaches.

Career readiness engagement is measured by the number of graduates who successfully complete the designated career readiness sessions.

Through one-on-one coaching sessions, interview preparation, and LinkedIn profile optimization, we substantially enhanced graduates’ employment confidence levels. Our goal is to ensure that at least 90% of participants in each cohort receive personalized coaching support.

Graduate employment status tracking achieves 85% completion, with updated data recorded at the 3-, 6-, and 12-month milestones. The objective is to maintain at least 85% data completeness for each cohort cycle.
