Ground support is provided to technicians engaged in fiber splicing operations, facilitating the construction of properly sealed splice cases. This involves performing essential tasks such as grounding, bonding, isolation, slack storage, and sealing, among other related duties.

The Assistant Splicing Technician role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, along with prior experience in fiber optic splicing or a closely related field.
