What you’ll do:
You will provide support in developing Bills of Quantities (BOQ’s), conducting site measurements, documenting material consumption, and overseeing project expenditures. Additionally, you will assist in generating quotations, managing subcontractor payments, documenting variations, and ensuring projects adhere to approved financial constraints. Collaboration with suppliers, site personnel, and clients will also be required as needed.
This position is well-suited for individuals who have a strong affinity for both numerical analysis and on-site construction activities, with a desire to develop their skills and actively participate in high-quality interior design initiatives.
What we’re looking for:
A qualification encompassing a diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Construction, or an allied discipline is required for this role.
Seeking a minimum of one year of professional experience in quantity surveying or within construction project environments.
Experience in interior fit-out, joinery, or finishing work would be highly beneficial.
You demonstrate exceptional proficiency in numerical analysis and problem-solving, with a keen eye for identifying subtle details that elude others.
Proficient in interpreting technical and architectural drawings is essential.
Honesty, strong organizational skills, and the capacity to perform effectively in high-pressure environments are essential qualities for this role.
Skilled in utilizing Microsoft Excel and the complete MS Office suite is required.
