Job Purpose Statement

The Manager, Server and Storage leads the evaluation, deployment, and maintenance of IT infrastructure to align with the Bank’s strategic objectives. This role guarantees uninterrupted access to critical systems for business continuity while supervising data center operations in strict adherence to service level agreements (SLAs). Additionally, the position provides technical support for virtual environments, backup and restoration procedures, business continuity planning (BCP), and SAN storage infrastructure. Effective collaboration with the Information Security team is required to enforce policies and protocols that optimize server and storage efficiency, capacity utilization, and performance monitoring.

Oversee the strategic management and development of assigned key accounts, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and client expectations while driving revenue growth and fostering long-term partnerships. Serve as the primary point of contact for high-value clients, addressing their needs through proactive communication, tailored solutions, and exceptional service delivery to ensure satisfaction and retention. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams—including sales, marketing, and customer support—to execute account plans, resolve escalated issues, and identify opportunities for upselling or expansion. Analyze account performance metrics, client feedback, and market trends to refine strategies, optimize resource allocation, and mitigate risks, ultimately enhancing profitability and account sustainability. Maintain a deep understanding of industry dynamics, competitive landscapes, and client business priorities to anticipate challenges and proactively recommend innovative approaches that deliver measurable value.

Designing, implementing, and maintaining server infrastructure accounts for 20% of the role’s responsibilities, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security of IT systems. This includes managing physical and virtual servers, configuring hardware and software, monitoring system health, and troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime. Additionally, responsibilities involve capacity planning, performance tuning, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and industry standards. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to align server infrastructure with business objectives and technological advancements.

Oversight of both physical and virtual infrastructure systems, specifically VMware and Hyper-V, with support for various operating system platforms.

Establish and nurture high-level relationships across regional and global IT networks to effectively tap into shared resources and innovative solutions that address local operational needs.

Evaluate the capacity and performance metrics of the organization’s server and storage infrastructure across all groups to verify optimal operational efficiency.

Plant capacity, performance, and service availability for all servers and storage systems to align with business requirements.
