Professionals should possess hands-on experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions, including but not limited to SAP Business One, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle/NetSuite, Sage, Odor, Tally, or comparable manufacturing-focused ERP platforms.

An ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) specialist is responsible for implementing, configuring, and maintaining ERP systems to streamline business processes. They analyze organizational needs, customize software solutions, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems. Additionally, they provide training to end-users, troubleshoot technical issues, and optimize system performance. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in ERP software, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams are essential for this role. A bachelor’s degree in information technology, business administration, or a related field is typically required, along with relevant certifications in ERP platforms.

Proficiency in data migration, system configuration, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), user training, reporting, and post-implementation support is essential.

Proficiency in analytical thinking, problem-solving, effective communication, and stakeholder engagement is essential.

Proficiency in internal controls, user access management, audit trails, cybersecurity, backups, and data integrity represents a valuable asset.

Oversee and execute core responsibilities to ensure operational excellence, including managing project timelines, coordinating cross-functional teams, and delivering high-quality results within specified deadlines. Maintain clear communication with stakeholders to align on objectives, address concerns, and provide regular updates on progress. Analyze performance metrics to identify trends, recommend improvements, and implement data-driven strategies to optimize efficiency and productivity. Develop and maintain documentation, reports, and procedures to support compliance, transparency, and accountability. Collaborate with leadership to align projects with organizational goals, ensuring resources are allocated effectively, and strategic priorities are met.

Lead ERP implementations from initiation to completion, collaborate with stakeholders to capture and define business requirements, model and optimize processes, and configure the system to meet manufacturing controls, inventory management, costing, approval workflows, and reporting needs.

Coordinate data migration efforts, oversee testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases, and manage go-live activities, ensuring a seamless transition. Additionally, develop and deliver user training programs while providing post-implementation support to enhance system effectiveness and drive widespread user adoption.

Monitor system performance diligently while maintaining comprehensive documentation and robust controls. Provide essential support for business reporting and analytics initiatives, and champion continuous ERP enhancements to align with evolving digital transformation goals.

Spearhead ERP governance, system optimization, and strategic technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization’s long-term technology vision and sustained growth objectives.
