Fair Chain Workforce establishes a globally conscious and sustainable workforce framework by linking highly skilled accountants in Kenya—who have completed rigorous audit training—with accounting firms in the Netherlands.

Our Nairobi-based team exclusively partners with Dutch accounting firms, delivering premium accounting, compilation, and financial reporting services tailored to the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

We prioritize the creation of accurate, standardized, and audit-ready financial documentation that fully complies with Dutch regulatory standards. Within our high-performance culture, accountability, operational efficiency, and unwavering quality are fundamental priorities.

Top Performers Only

This position seeks accomplished audit professionals holding senior or assistant manager roles, ideally with Big 4 experience, who have demonstrated a track record of exceptional performance.

We are specifically looking for:

Seasoned professionals holding positions at the Senior Associate or Assistant Manager level—or in a comparable capacity within a premier organization—are encouraged to apply.

Completed the Advanced CPA or CPA-K certification, demonstrating advanced proficiency in accounting principles and practices.

Professionals capable of overseeing several year-end files autonomously while ensuring strict adherence to deadlines and maintaining exceptional quality are encouraged to apply.

This opportunity represents a strategic career progression for audit professionals seeking to evolve from audit testing and review to assuming complete responsibility for financial reporting deliverables. Tailored for experienced audit practitioners, this role is designed to facilitate a transition beyond traditional audit functions. Please note that individuals at the junior level may not qualify for this position.

You will play a pivotal role in overseeing and driving the success of key initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and delivering measurable results. This position requires a strategic mindset, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams to implement solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity. Responsibilities include developing and executing project plans, monitoring progress, and identifying opportunities for improvement while maintaining rigorous attention to detail. Candidates must possess a proven track record in project management, strong leadership capabilities, and proficiency in relevant tools and methodologies. A minimum of five years of experience in a similar role, along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, is essential for success in this position.

As a Senior Accountant, you will assume full responsibility for overseeing the year-end compilation process and preparing precise financial reports for Dutch clients.

You will focus on producing the final reporting deliverables and ensuring the technical excellence of the financial statements, rather than conducting audits.

Your work includes:

Review and analyze accounting records to pinpoint discrepancies, anomalies, or potential financial risks.

Executing final modifications, including accruals, provisions, and reclassifications, to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting.

Preparing Dutch-compliant financial statements and concise reports from reviewed accounting records constitutes the key responsibility for this role.

Rewriting the original paragraph professionally while retaining all details, requirements, and responsibilities:

Overseeing several year-end files concurrently within a systematically organized, time-sensitive setting.

We ensure all files are meticulously prepared, thoroughly documented, and fully compliant with review standards before finalization.

By consistently enhancing operational efficiency, documentation standards, and project delivery speed, the role focuses on refining processes and outcomes to achieve optimal performance.

Professionals interact with Dutch accountants in a polished and courteous manner.

This position demands a blend of technical excellence and a relentless commitment to rapid implementation alongside personal accountability.
