The primary responsibility involves serving as the lead instructor for Kenyan Sign Language classes within the high school setting. This encompasses the development of lesson plans, delivery of instruction, and evaluation of student progress to ensure effective learning outcomes.
Partner with subject educators to jointly design, instruct, and evaluate lessons that align with established curriculum objectives and inclusive education standards.
Tailor instructional materials and teaching methodologies to effectively accommodate varied learning preferences and requirements.
Facilitate the cultivation of conceptual comprehension, analytical reasoning, and solution-oriented problem-solving abilities.
Establish and execute mastery-based learning and assessment strategies to guarantee every learner can participate in meaningful educational experiences.
Provide oversight and coordination as a dedicated case manager, responsible for developing and maintaining individualized learning plans or facilitating necessary support updates in collaboration with the assigned case manager.
Track and report on learner development, sharing updates with educators, parents/guardians, and the learning support team as needed.
