Collection Africa is looking for an experienced and technically proficient IT Manager to join the team. This position involves overseeing all IT operations, with a focus on maintaining high-performing, secure, and resilient systems. The role requires a blend of strategic leadership and practical systems’ management, as you will spearhead digital transformation initiatives, enforce robust cybersecurity measures, administer enterprise infrastructure, and enhance our essential PRSP/SMS and VoIP/SIP communication platforms to facilitate organizational expansion.
Core Resposibilities
Develops and executes comprehensive IT strategies and oversees infrastructure management initiatives to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and technological advancements. Responsible for evaluating, implementing, and optimizing IT systems, networks, and platforms while maintaining robust security protocols and compliance standards. Requires a minimum of five years of progressive IT leadership experience, expertise in cloud computing, cybersecurity best practices, and proficiency in enterprise architecture frameworks. Duties include leading cross-functional teams, managing IT budgets and resources, and driving innovation to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, servers, and virtualization environments, the Systems Administrator ensures optimal performance, security, and availability of IT infrastructure. This role involves installing, upgrading, and troubleshooting hardware and software, managing user accounts and access permissions, and monitoring system health through proactive diagnostics and performance tuning. Additionally, the position requires implementing and enforcing security protocols, performing regular backups, and coordinating with IT teams to support organizational goals. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux), scripting, and network administration are essential.
We seek a seasoned professional to oversee cybersecurity and risk management initiatives, ensuring robust protection against digital threats and compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will design and implement security frameworks, assess vulnerabilities, and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard organizational assets. Responsibilities include monitoring security systems, conducting risk assessments, and leading incident response efforts. Additionally, the role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to establish security policies, provide employee training, and maintain alignment with industry best practices. A strong background in cybersecurity, risk assessment methodologies, and relevant certifications is essential.

A relevant academic qualification, such as a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely aligned discipline, is required.
Experienced IT leadership professional required, with a minimum of seven years in management roles within fast-paced organizational settings.
Proven expertise in systems administration, network management, cybersecurity, and cloud infrastructure is essential.
Professional credentials such as CCNA, GCSE, ITIL, CISSP, CISA, and Security+ are highly regarded.
Proficiency in PRSP/SMS platforms and VoIP/SIP systems is strongly preferred.
