This six-month internship provides an immersive training experience designed to cultivate advanced skills in bid and tender preparation within the realm of technology consulting. Participants will collaborate directly with seasoned bid managers, gaining hands-on experience and mentorship throughout the program.

Our goal is to provide interns with practical exposure to competitive bid preparation, tender documentation coordination, proposal development assistance, and insight into comprehensive IT solution delivery frameworks. Upon completing the program, interns will gain the skills necessary to independently support full bid cycles and make meaningful contributions to tendering and proposal development efforts for ICT initiatives.

Reports to a designated manager or supervisor, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and facilitating clear communication channels throughout the reporting hierarchy. This role involves providing regular updates on progress, performance metrics, and project statuses to the next level of leadership. It also requires adherence to company policies and procedures while upholding accountability for assigned tasks and deliverables. The position supports cross-functional collaboration by bridging communication gaps between teams and leadership, ensuring transparency and efficiency in workflow execution.

The position is accountable to the appointed Bid/Tender Manager, who will serve as the intern’s supervisor and provide guidance throughout the duration of the program.

Duration

This internship is structured to last for a duration of six months.

During the initial three-month period, participants will complete rigorous training focused on bid preparation, proposal composition, and adherence to tender compliance regulations and documentation protocols. Interns will be subject to ongoing evaluations to gauge their proficiency in bid methodologies and proposal formulation.

For the final three months, you will actively participate in live tenders and proposal assignments, receiving structured guidance from the Bid Manager throughout the process.

High-caliber interns may be offered full-time positions at Green Com, either as Bid & Tender Assistants or Pre-Sales Support Officers, based on performance.

Overseeing and executing key responsibilities, this position encompasses a comprehensive range of duties essential to the role. The incumbent will be tasked with managing core functions, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining high standards of performance across assigned areas. Specific responsibilities include developing and implementing strategic initiatives, monitoring progress, and addressing any challenges that may arise to achieve organizational objectives. Additionally, the role demands adherence to established policies and procedures while fostering collaboration with stakeholders to drive success.

Assist in compiling tender documents, proposals, pre-qualification submissions, and supplementary materials as required.

Work alongside bid managers, project teams, and associate consultants to compile essential technical, financial, and administrative data required for tender submissions.

Attend all pre-bid meetings and evaluation processes associated with tendering, proposal development, and compliance documentation.

Guarantee the precision, thoroughness, and adherence of all bid materials to client specifications and tender requirements.

Assist in preparing and maintaining detailed technical and financial schedules under guidance.

To develop a comprehensive grasp of Green Com’s business solutions, services, and value propositions, enabling effective support in proposal development.

Engage in company-led innovation initiatives focused on enhancing the effectiveness and excellence of bid submissions.

Handle all supplementary assignments related to ongoing tender and pre-sales operations with diligence and efficiency.
