Job Summary:

The Human Resource Assistant will provide essential support to the company’s HR and administrative operations, contributing to staff management, recruitment initiatives, employee relations, attendance tracking, and the maintenance of accurate HR records. This role ensures the seamless functioning of daily activities within the organization.

Performs a range of critical duties and fulfills key responsibilities including delivering exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries promptly, and resolving issues efficiently to ensure client satisfaction. Oversees daily operational tasks, maintains accurate records, and ensures compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, improve workflow efficiency, and support organizational objectives. Monitors performance metrics, identifies areas for improvement, and implements strategic solutions to enhance productivity and service quality. Participates in training programs, stays updated on industry trends, and contributes to a positive and productive work environment. Supports team members as needed and upholds the company’s values and mission in all interactions.

Lend support to the recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding initiatives by providing administrative and operational assistance as required.

Ensure the precision and upkeep of employee records as well as staff files.

Oversee the tracking of attendance records, leave allocations, scheduled shifts, and staff conduct to ensure adherence to organizational policies.

Support the creation and management of essential HR documentation, such as employment contracts, formal warnings, and appointment letters.

Assist leadership in enhancing staff well-being and fostering effective communication channels.

Ensure strict adherence to company policies and labor regulations at all times.

Coordinate necessary staff training sessions and meetings as required.

Support the preparation of payroll and management of staff data.

Perform a variety of general administrative tasks as directed by management.

We are seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications and requirements: a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, at least three years of professional experience in a similar role, proficiency with industry-standard software tools, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Prior experience in project management or team leadership is highly desirable, as is familiarity with data analysis and reporting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline is required.

Strong preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in the hospitality sector.

Demonstrated experience in an HR Assistant or HR Officer capacity within the hospitality sector is required.

Proven ability to communicate effectively and collaborate seamlessly with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Proficient understanding of labor legislation and human resources protocols is required.

Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite applications effectively.
