Mission Description

The Talent Manager will collaborate with the Regional HR Manager for East Africa, operating within the Human Resources function, to drive the organization’s expansion by identifying, nurturing, and maintaining top-tier talent.

Spearhead the hiring process for pivotal and senior-level positions, concurrently cultivating robust talent pipelines and implementing impactful attraction and selection strategies.

Design and create talent development strategies, encompassing learning programs, career progression pathways, competency frameworks, and digital learning solutions, to enhance employee growth and organizational capability.

Drive leadership development and succession planning, including the identification and development of high-potential employees

Oversee the complete performance management process and provide guidance to managers on establishing objectives, delivering constructive feedback, and facilitating professional development through coaching.

Elevate employee engagement, bolster retention rates, and strengthen organizational culture—with a dedicated focus on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives.

Facilitate the development and implementation of competitive compensation strategies while overseeing critical external collaborations with universities, agencies, and training providers. Additionally, spearhead employer branding initiatives to enhance organizational appeal and attract top talent.

Profile

A master’s degree in human resources management is required, along with a minimum of six years of professional experience in Talent Management and Learning & Development.

Proven track record in sourcing, selecting, and developing top talent throughout every stage of the talent lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on coaching and mentoring initiatives.

With a talent for managing stakeholders and fostering strong communication, you will excel in this role.

Proficient in workforce planning methodologies and the application of HR analytics to drive strategic decision-making.

Demonstrated capacity to thrive amidst rapid changes and evolving demands within a high-velocity workplace.
