Maintain a comprehensive log of all sales transactions within the designated accounting software system.
Responsible for accurately reconciling income data derived from point-of-sale (POS) transactions and other payment processing methods.
Responsible for the oversight and reconciliation of till floats and petty cash balances to ensure accurate financial tracking and availability of funds.
Verify that purchase invoices are accurate, properly authorized, and aligned with the allocated budget.
Invoices are entered into the accounting software system.
After confirming the accuracy of invoices and securing necessary approvals, facilitate timely payments to various suppliers as per established protocols.
Accurately prepare, file, and submit VAT, WTH, and WTHT returns punctually, ensuring compliance with all statutory deadlines.
Monitor and pursue overdue accounts receivable to ensure timely collection and resolution of outstanding balances.
Monitor aging reports for outstanding payables and receivables to ensure accurate financial tracking and timely follow-ups.
Partner with the Human Resources department to process and verify payroll inputs accurately and efficiently.
Perform periodic reconciliations of bank and other accounts on a weekly and monthly basis to ensure accuracy and alignment with financial records.
Compiling monthly Profit & Loss accounts, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements forms a key part of this role.
Timely submission of statutory deductions, including PAYE, SHIP, NSSF, and Housing Levy, is essential to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Ensure timely submission of the Catering Levy to comply with regulatory obligations.
Guarantee that all accounting records are organized and stored in accordance with established protocols.
Ensure all licenses are tracked, processed, and renewed punctually to maintain compliance and avoid interruptions in operations.
We are responsible for monitoring inventory levels and performing monthly stock takes to ensure accurate records and operational efficiency. This role involves maintaining precise documentation of stock movements, reconciling discrepancies, and providing timely reports to support decision-making. A strong attention to detail and proficiency in inventory management systems are essential for success in this position.
