Key Responsibilities
Assist in teaching and mentoring students in music composition, theory, arrangement, and creative music practice
Support composition projects through creating, arranging, editing, and reviewing musical works
Assist in conducting research and creative activities in music composition and related discipline
Participate in departmental activities such as performances, workshops, concerts, examinations, and academic program
Maintain and support music resources including scores, recordings, software, instruments, and learning materials
Qualifications and skills
Bachelor in Music or related Program
Must have skills in composition, music arrangement, orchestration, music theory, notation software, and digital music production
Must have at least two (2) years’ relevant experience in music composition, teaching assistance, research, or creative music practice
Must be a member or eligible for membership in recognized music bodies such as MCSK, KAMP, or other relevant professional association
Must present a comprehensive portfolio of original compositions demonstrating their creative work
