The People and Culture Intern will deliver comprehensive administrative, operational, and coordination assistance to the People and Culture Department. This position will involve supporting employee records management, recruitment efforts, onboarding processes, leave administration, employee communications, training coordination, Foundation activities, staff engagement initiatives, and general HR operations.
Performs a variety of tasks including managing daily operations, overseeing team performance, and ensuring adherence to company policies. Responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency. Handles budget preparation, financial forecasting, and cost-control measures to optimize resource allocation. Facilitates communication between departments, resolves conflicts, and promotes a collaborative work environment. Ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while maintaining high standards of operational excellence. Conducts performance evaluations, provides mentorship to staff, and fosters professional growth within the team.
Maintain and update employee records, personnel files, and HR databases to ensure all documentation remains accurate and meticulously organized.
Provide administrative support for recruitment activities, handling interview scheduling, candidate correspondence, onboarding procedures, and employee induction processes.
Oversee and maintain systems for leave, attendance, and employee records, guaranteeing prompt updates and precise reporting.
Compose, circulate, and update internal HR communications, notices, and employee correspondence to ensure clarity and accuracy.
Coordinate employee training programs by handling all aspects of planning and execution, such as organizing schedules, managing logistics, tracking attendance, and maintaining accurate training records.
Facilitate the strategic planning and implementation of Foundation initiatives, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs, and community engagement efforts.
Compile, revise, and manage HR reports, trackers, databases, and various departmental records to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
Assist with the planning and execution of employee welfare programs, staff engagement events, hospital visits, bereavement support services, and employee recognition initiatives.
Organize and coordinate meetings, prepare necessary documentation and presentations, document detailed minutes, and deliver comprehensive administrative assistance to the Human Resource Department.
Execute a range of clerical and administrative tasks to ensure the seamless provision of HR services and the achievement of departmental goals.
Additionally, you may be tasked with various other assignments as deemed necessary by the manager and/or higher-level management.
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, along with three or more years of experience in software development. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ is essential, and familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are required. Additionally, excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders are a must.
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree, diploma, or higher diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Sociology, Public Relations, or a closely related discipline is required.

Professional certification or active membership with HRM is highly advantageous.
