Presently, Swiss contact is executing an extensive range of initiatives covering Agribusiness, Eye Healthcare, Digital Skills, Green Skills, and E-Mobility entrepreneurship, including the Propel initiative, which is dedicated to enhancing youth skills development, employment opportunities, and entrepreneurship in the electrical, plumbing, and lift mechanics sectors.

General Position Summary

The Project Officer will play a key role in driving the successful execution of the Future Fit Project, ensuring the seamless delivery of high-caliber project initiatives in digital skills, green skills (particularly in e-mobility), youth entrepreneurship, and employment. This position will furnish operational, coordination, and technical assistance to guarantee that project deliverables are met punctually, adhere to defined parameters, and comply with donor, partner, and organizational mandates.

The role demands an independent, analytical professional with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and meticulous attention to detail. Candidates should excel at managing project-related responsibilities alongside general administrative duties with efficiency and precision.

This position is located in Nairobi, Kenya, with a requirement to travel to various field sites for up to 30% of the duration of employment.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience in the industry, demonstrating competence and growth, is essential.
