Our client, a prestigious and upscale Golf Club located in Nairobi, is actively seeking a polished, professional Receptionist and Waitstaff to enhance their exceptional service team.
The position necessitates a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, preferably supplemented by advanced studies or certifications in the industry. Candidates must possess a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in a comparable role, with proven expertise in project management, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in industry-specific software, and the ability to interpret complex data are essential. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required to articulate ideas clearly and engage with stakeholders at all levels. Additionally, familiarity with regulatory compliance and a commitment to continuous professional development are highly valued.
A relevant qualification in Secretarial Studies, Front Office Management, Hospitality Management, or a comparable discipline is required.
A minimum of two years’ relevant experience in a front-facing office or receptionist capacity is required, ideally within a high-end hospitality setting.
Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office applications and demonstrating strong computer literacy skills.
Skilled in overseeing front office functions and delivering exceptional customer service management.
Operational proficiency with front office equipment and payment processing systems, including PDQ terminals, is required.
Proficient in both verbal and written English and Kiswahili, with exceptional communication abilities.
A polished and professional demeanor, strong interpersonal abilities, and a dedication to customer satisfaction are essential for this role.
Demonstrated proficiency in effectively handling multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of organization.
Maintains strict confidentiality and consistently upholds professional standards in all interactions and duties.
The position requires a consistent work schedule, ensuring availability during designated business hours and adherence to any additional scheduling requirements as needed.
Shift 1 operates from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Shift two operates from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, covering the afternoon and early evening hours.
Nairobi serves as the designated workplace for this position, offering a dynamic and vibrant professional environment in Kenya’s capital city.
The gross salary for this position is Ash 40,000.
