The role involves overseeing key operational tasks, ensuring compliance with company policies, and maintaining high standards of efficiency and accuracy. Monitor transactions, merchant activity, and ATM operations to detect suspicious or irregular patterns, assess flagged transactions, and mitigate identified fraud risks or scams.

Merchant & Third-Party Oversight involves monitoring merchant and third-party agent activities through careful evaluation of transactions, business operations, websites, products, and services to verify adherence to scheme rules and applicable legal standards.

Compliance & Risk Mitigation: Oversee merchant screening and payment intelligence alerts, assist in fraud investigations, document suspicious activities, and offer strategic recommendations to minimize fraud, chargebacks, and operational risks while upholding regulatory compliance.

Ensure the precision and integrity of data within acquisition systems by maintaining accurate records and generating reports on suspicious activities and investigation outcomes.

Engage with stakeholders by partnering with internal teams and external industry organizations to gather necessary data, offer fraud and chargeback expertise, and facilitate compliance with regulatory and industry reporting standards.

Requirements

We are seeking a candidate with a strong academic background and relevant professional experience in the specified field. The ideal applicant will possess a degree in a related discipline, complemented by several years of hands-on experience in a comparable role. Proficiency in key industry tools and technologies is essential, as is a deep understanding of current trends and best practices. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are also required to excel in this position. Additionally, familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements may be necessary, depending on the specific responsibilities of the role.

A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Criminology, Business, or a related discipline is required.

Seeking candidates with a minimum of two to three years of hands-on experience in fraud monitoring, risk management, or banking operations.

Possesses a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks governing payment systems and robust knowledge of anti-money laundering (AML) compliance measures.
