The Pan-Africa DREAM Finance and Grants Assistant will provide essential support to project RIO’s financial operations and compliance initiatives. Key responsibilities involve assisting with RIO Administration and Management by handling payment processing, expenditure tracking, and grant documentation management. Maintaining precise records, preparing concise grants and finance summaries, monitoring RIO budgets, and ensuring adherence to both donor and organizational policies will also be part of the role.
Develop and execute strategies to achieve organizational goals, ensuring alignment with company objectives and industry best practices. Oversee daily operations to maintain efficiency, quality, and productivity across all departments. Collaborate with senior management to establish policies, procedures, and performance metrics. RIO Management & Administration encompasses the oversight and coordination of operational activities to ensure efficient workflows, adherence to policies, and alignment with organizational objectives. Support the preparation and processing of RIO proposals, budgets, and agreements.

Act as the primary liaison for Requesting Locations Officers (Los), addressing all questions related to application submissions during Request for Proposal (RFP) processes.
Grants and Finance Record Management involves organizing, maintaining, and archiving both physical and digital documentation pertaining to financial transactions and grant-related activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
Develop and oversee a comprehensive records management system that integrates both physical and digital documents, ensuring standardized naming conventions, stringent access controls, and secure data backup protocols. This role requires maintaining a transparent and audit-ready framework to safeguard information integrity and accessibility.
Provides financial oversight and management support, ensuring adherence to allocated budgets. Collaborates with departments to monitor expenditures, identify variances, and propose corrective actions when necessary. Develops and maintains financial reports, projections, and budgetary analyses to support informed decision-making. Assists in the preparation of annual budgets, including forecasting and resource allocation. Ensures compliance with financial policies, regulations, and organizational standards. Identifies cost-saving opportunities and recommends efficiency improvements while maintaining operational effectiveness.
Assists in monitoring budget allocations, reconciling actual expenditures with planned amounts, and detecting inconsistencies within financial RIO reports.
