RIO Sub-Award Management & Administration involves overseeing and executing the financial, administrative, and compliance aspects of sub-awards under Research Leadership Organizations (RIO). This role ensures adherence to sponsor requirements, institutional policies, and regulatory standards throughout the sub-award lifecycle, from initial negotiation to final close out. Key responsibilities include reviewing sub-award agreements, managing financial reporting, ensuring timely disbursement of funds, and maintaining accurate documentation. The position demands strong attention to detail, proficiency in grant management systems, and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including principal investigators, sponsored programs offices, and external partners.

Direct the complete sub-grant process, overseeing RFA’s and both pre- and post-award evaluations, while managing the drafting of agreements and concluding all administrative activities upon final close-out.

Process sub-grantee cash disbursements while verifying that financial requests comply with the terms of approved sub-agreements and allocated budgets.

Ensure donor compliance and mitigate risks associated with all contributions by meticulously reviewing and validating incoming funds, maintaining strict adherence to organizational policies, and implementing robust risk management protocols to safeguard assets and reputation.

All sub-award documentation and activity implementation must fully comply with donor-established guidelines and regulations.
