POSITION SUMMARY
The Finance Assistant will provide dedicated support to NEAR’s financial operations in the Nairobi office, executing daily finance responsibilities such as creating purchase orders, handling invoice and payment processing, reconciling accounts, monitoring expenditures, and verifying adherence to organizational policies, established procedures, and donor-specific requirements. This position will play a key role in maintaining precise financial documentation, delivering timely reports, and facilitating seamless support for audits as well as month-end closure procedures.
Proven expertise in [specific skills, e.g., project management, data analysis, software development] is required, along with a minimum of [X] years of relevant experience in [industry/field]. A bachelor’s degree in [relevant field] or an equivalent combination of education and professional training is essential.
