Job objective:
AAA Growers Limited is in search of a meticulous and proactive Creditors Accounts Officer to enhance the Accounts Payable department. This position encompasses processing supplier payments, overseeing local and foreign currency creditor accounts, conducting reconciliations, managing petty cash, ensuring adherence to VAT regulations, and maintaining precise financial documentation for AAA Growers and its subsidiaries.
Oversee a broad range of critical duties encompassing strategic planning, operational execution, and performance management to drive organizational success. Develop and implement comprehensive policies, procedures, and frameworks that enhance efficiency, compliance, and scalability across all business functions. Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and alignment to achieve key performance indicators and long-term objectives. Monitor industry trends, competitive landscapes, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for innovation and sustainable growth. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, ethical standards, and corporate governance principles while mitigating risks and optimizing resource allocation.
Process and validate supplier invoices, Goods Received Notes (GRNs), Local Purchase Orders (Los), and accompanying documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Reconcile supplier statements and generate remittances to ensure timely payments are made.
Ensure creditor records are maintained with precision while facilitating the timely allocation of payments.
Oversee the foreign currency creditors and accounts payable functions for designated subsidiary companies.
Process and manage reimbursements for petty cash disbursements originating from the Head Office.
Accurate VAT postings must be ensured, with supporting documentation maintained to uphold compliance and facilitate audit readiness.
Handle freight-related financial transactions and ensure accurate maintenance of associated records.
Monthly, prepare comprehensive creditors reports, payment schedules, and reconciliation statements to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to address and resolve discrepancies in documentation and reconciliation processes.
Engage in inventory counts and assist with both internal and external audit processes.
Drive measurable business impact through the systematic tracking and achievement of predefined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and operational benchmarks. Evaluate performance trends, identify areas for enhancement, and implement data-driven adjustments to optimize productivity, efficiency, and goal attainment. Foster accountability by regularly monitoring progress against established metrics, reporting findings to stakeholders, and proposing actionable recommendations to senior leadership. Maintain a rigorous focus on continuous improvement while ensuring all KPIs reflect both short-term deliverables and long-term organizational growth.

A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, commerce, or a related discipline is required.
Qualified candidates must hold either a CPA Part II/III credential, an ARCA certification, or an equivalent professional qualification in their field.
A minimum of two years of professional experience in Accounts Payable or Creditors Management is required.
Demonstrates strong expertise in accounting software platforms alongside advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting capabilities.
Possessing expertise in VAT regulations and familiarity with ETFMS requirements would be beneficial.
