In this position you will
Fosters strong, professional relationships among colleagues by maintaining open and effective communication channels.
Provide support to Service Technicians in identifying the necessary components for each task.
Builds and nurtures collaborative partnerships with vendors and internal team members to ensure smooth operations and mutual support.
When special order parts become available, the individual promptly notifies customers to ensure timely receipt of their requested items.
The Technician is furnished with required components promptly, minimizing any delay; pre-picking parts is employed when advantageous, such as for customer appointments involving a recall part or a scheduled maintenance service.
Utilize effective retail strategies to showcase and market parts and accessories, ensuring optimal product presentation and customer engagement.
Collaborates with the Service Department, Sales Department, Body Shop, and other relevant teams to ensure timely fulfillment of parts requests.
Analyzes and implements process and method enhancements within the Parts Department to drive operational improvements.
Leverage parts resources, including catalogues, to gather comprehensive information regarding parts and accessories inventory.
Oversees inventory management to enhance operational efficiency and prevent delays in customer deliveries.
Maximizes available inventory allowances to ensure minimal idle and obsolete stock levels are maintained.
Maintains an organized filing system for all documentation related to repair orders, special orders, back orders, and other relevant paperwork.
Handling customer inquiries regarding parts, providing detailed responses, and ensuring timely follow-ups to facilitate sales.
Special orders are processed and meticulously tracked to ensure timely fulfillment and sales continuity, with regular follow-ups conducted to monitor progress and address any potential delays.
Upsell parts to customers during service interactions to enhance their purchases and increase revenue opportunities.
Engaging in company-sponsored promotional initiatives is a key responsibility, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategies.
About You
To be successful in this role, you would need:
Minimum bachelor’s degree holder in a business-related field
With a proven track record of at least two years in parts sales, you possess demonstrated success in driving revenue and meeting sales targets. Your background includes hands-on experience in a fast-paced sales environment, where you effectively identify customer needs, provide expert recommendations, and cultivate lasting client relationships to enhance repeat business.
Customer service training will be considered a valuable asset.
Demonstrates a keen commitment to customer satisfaction by prioritizing their needs and ensuring a positive experience at every interaction.
